The review below mine by Koots is entirely accurate, so I won't duplicate his info much. Read it and take it as reliable. Now here's some stuff he doesn't cover.

There are only two reasons to favor this portable over others in its range. The reasons can apply in tandem, or independently: First: the unit looks totally innocuous on public transportation (translation: it doesn't cry out "Steal me!"), because from even a short distance away, it appears to be a standard CD player. Second: It is arguably the most compact portable standard-DVD player on the market, and should fit nicely into a purse, shoulder bag or slim case.

This player can be multi-region and you can find the code anywhere on the net. I have personally played region 1, 2 and 3 with no problems.

It comes with dual voltage/hertz ac adaptor, car charger and, again, can play all regions in either PAL or NTSC format. It also comes with the A/V cables to hook up to a TV and cheap earbuds which I'm sure everyone will replace. Finally, it comes with a credit card remote (you will NEED to access all features) and a medium thickness carrying case (cloth bag) which is adequate to prevent scratches, but will not protect against impact or pressure.

Invest in a clean screen protector and you have a great unit. For those interested, you can FF up to x32 which is nice also. I have not tried out the SD playback capability yet, so I don't know if it plays back SD video in adition to audio and photos.

I just got one of these and is it ever SWEET! It's about the size of a personal CD player and fits in my purse easily! I don't usually take my other portable DVD player when I travel by air as it is just one more large thing to carry. This little guy will be in my purse on my next flight!
